Will Pan

Will, a senior at Algonquin Regional High School, is highly passionate about business. He began his journey with JEC as a Marketing Director during his sophomore year and has since advanced to the position of Co-President. Will is also an active officer and competitor in his school’s DECA chapter. In his junior year, he achieved 1st place at the district level and 10th place at the state level, ultimately attending the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) for the Leadership Academy. Outside of academics, Will is deeply involved in volleyball, playing at both the school and club levels. His leadership skills were recognized when he was named captain of his high school team. With a creative mindset and a strong passion for business, Will continuously strives to develop his skills and contribute meaningfully to both his community and the broader business landscape.

Andrew Laman

A Senior at Algonquin Regional High School, Andy has always taken an interest in Law, especially within business and finance. Andy’s interest in law stems from his love for history and philosophy since he was a child, growing up watching documentaries and historical fiction films. Andy also has a passion for helping others, regularly volunteering through the Youth Service League program at his local church, as well as being a Teacher’s Assistant for Spanish at his local high school. Andy plans to go to college for Business Law, earning his Juris Doctor while using the skills and experience he’s gained from participating in JEC Boston.

Sophie Sima

Sophie, a junior at Weston High School, is a driven and ambitious student with a passion for business and plans to pursue a major in finance or marketing. As the Vice President of Marketing on her school’s DECA executive board, she combines her creativity and leadership skills to excel in competitive business settings. Sophie is also a DECA competitor, placing 5th at States and ultimately competing at ICDC. Outside the classroom, she plays both tennis and piano competitively, while also finding joy in traveling, cooking, painting, and spending time with friends. She is also the co-president of a environmental organization chapter called Keep Weston Beautiful. Known for being organized, motivated, and fun to be around, Sophie strives to bring energy and determination to everything she takes on.

Syrah Anand

Syrah Anand, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at JEC Boston, and a Junior at Phillips Exeter Academy, from Dubai, UAE, is deeply passionate about finance and sustainable business. She began her journey in the hospitality real estate and finance sectors through internships in Spain, Dubai and Switzerland. Syrah is also the founder of Share A Book A Day, a literacy initiative dedicated to providing daily access to books for underprivileged students, and serves as Chapter Founder for Room to Read at Phillips Exeter Academy. Beyond her professional and philanthropic pursuits, she has honed leadership skills through Model United Nations, research projects and sustainability advising with the New York Academy of Sciences. With a global outlook, a commitment to sustainability, and a proven record of leadership, Syrah strives to drive meaningful impact in finance and business while fostering positive change in her community.

Izzy Wheler

Izzy is a junior at Weston High School and plays soccer and track. She is a camp counselor during the summers and is very interested in pursuing a career in law, particularly in areas that focus on justice and advocacy. In her free time, Izzy enjoys volunteering in her community, where she has developed her passion for helping others, and spending time with friends and friends.

Zoe Uppot

Zoe is a sophomore at Newton North High School with an interest in math and a budding interest in finance. As a newer member of JEC, Zoe hopes to extend her knowledge to programs like the High Returns program and the Junior Economist with her passion for finance. In school she is involved in DECA, where she competed at the state level in Financial Consulting, and in STEMentors, where she’ll be serving as the Director of Public Events next year. Additionally she is a new edition to her school paper, the Newtonite, where she aspires to keep her school informed and foster school spirit. Through her experiences, she’s gotten the chance to share her knowledge through tutoring in math and English and volunteering at local events. Professionalism aside, she loves listening to rap and R&B music, running, and spending time with family and friends.
